Big Data

There are many definitions for the term "Big Data", but in general it can be said that it is large volumes of data that are not easy to process in a short time with the usual database tools. 

Typical features of big data are the so-called 5 V 

• VOLUME - large data volume 
• VELOCITY - data collection, analysis, and storage at high speeds 
• VARIETY - data is received in different formats and from multiple data sources 
• VERACITY - datasets may contain inaccurate or unreliable data 
• VARIABILITY - data quality and application varies (especially over time)
