ČAS TNK 136 - Technical Standardization Commission 136 Transport Telematics

The field of technical standards and specifications for all industries in the Czech Republic is dealt with by Czech Agency for Standardization (ČAS). Its professional activities are carried out through technical-standardization commissions (TNK). For the field of ITS it is TNK 136 Transport Telematics.

TNK136 monitors the development and participates in the preparation of standards in the European Technical Commission CEN/TC 278 Intelligent Transport Systems and in the world organisation ISO in two technical committees ISO/TC 204 Intelligent Transport Systems and ISO/TC 22/39 Ergonomics. The activities of TNK136 are supported and financed by the Ministry of Transport of the Czech Republic. 

TNK 136 has long been involved in promoting standardization in addition to its professional work. To this end, a website Standardland has been created and is being continuously developed.
