The World Road Congress, a major event of
PIARC, will be held under the motto "Prague 2023 - Together on the Road Again" and will focus on road safety.
The World Road Congress is held every four years and brings together experts from all over the world. It presents a unique opportunity for road construction and road management professionals, including researchers, road managers, planners, construction companies, university teachers and students. The congress is usually attended by 3,000 to 5,000 professionals, who present the latest trends and technologies in road transport.
Transport ministers meet in person to exchange knowledge and discuss road infrastructure modernisation together.
The programme also includes presentations of the results of the work of the 24 PIARC committees and working groups, several specialised sessions and workshops on current and future topics. The congress also includes an extensive exhibition, featuring road administrations, equipment and service providers, consultants and road-related organisations.
